MED Trends, Inc. was awarded a 5 year contract by the 319
th Squadron, U.S. Air Force for developing, maintaining a
portal dedicated to Healthcare Information Technology. This
project will affords substantial time savings allowing enhanced
focus on core missions.
This portal is multi-tiered infrastructure powered by a
robust application designed in CGI-Perl, Java, and ActiveX
to ensure 100% Web-enabled availability, with 128 bit/III
DES encryption. With a clustered application design, we are
able to easily scale our system to meet the needs and demands
of large and small customers alike. The e-Scribe portal allows
for HIPAA compliance and easily accessible Electronic Medical
Records.
